Privacy

Who we are

Our website address is: https://thenewfederalism.com

As described below, we try not to collect personal data from visitors to our site. Our website is hosted on GoDaddy, whose servers operate our site.

What personal data we collect and why
Comments

We do not collect visitor comments. If visitors were to leave comments on the site we would be collecting the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

We do not allow visitors to upload images. If you were to upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

We do not look for contact information on our site. If you were allowed to leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

We do not have accounts on our site. If you were to have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we would also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site are unlikely to include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with

We try not to collect data on visitors to our site, so there is less data to share.

If you were to leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

If users register on our website (if any), we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

We try not to collect data on our site, except data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
